Littlefish1597
I am fishing a state high school Muskie tournament on Lake alexander by Brainerd. Its the end of june. I was wondering if you guys had any tips for the lake? Ive never fished the lake before and don't have as much experience fishing rocks as I do weeds. CaptainMusky
There are lots of great weed beds on the lake so you won'tbe out of your element. The areas around the islands are very good. Since the water is so clear the weedlines are deep 18 plus feet in many cases. Don't be afraid to fish the inside week edge where there's sand. The lake will probably be treated for milfoil by then so avoid those areas which is mainly the east bay where its the most extensive. The whole lake is good just pick a spot and cast. Top waters and casting cranks have been best for me in recent years.
