Shack
This was a three part (thanks to YouTube's old time restrictions on video length) series I did awhile back on bridle rigging large live baits to maximise your success on landing large flatheads. A huge key in why this method really helps your overall odds is because the bait/sucker stays alive for much longer periods of time. My findings are that this method helps keep large suckers alive 5-10 times longer than traditional hooking methods. Having lively suckers does mean a greater chance with hooking into a larger hungry flathead but the second positive of this method is hook placement and embedment. It provides the overall clearest path for hook travel during the hookset. I explain more in the videos but here you go: "> " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> "> " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> "> " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> Here is an example of bridle rigging in action.
