Like the title says,I'm looking for something that grows fast and would be good for covering lattice..not concerned about flowers and such, just something that spreads.the area I want to do gets lots of early sun and the last 3-4 hours of the day..

Thanks for any help!

May need a little clarification to help steer us in the right direction. What size lattice, height and width? Do you prefer a perennial or is an annual OK?

Like the idea of cucs, there is a softball size musk melon called Minnesota Midget that would also be fun. Similarly, there are few colorful varieties of pole beans out there. Morning glories and Sweet Peas are easy to grow annual flowers. For perennials, there are a couple roses.... William Baffin or John Cabot climbing roses are pretty good. Trumpet vine is also decent, but borderline hardy. Grapevines climb really good, maybe pick up some concords and fight to the birds for them, you might end up with blue poo on the car or sidewalk though. Woodbine is also a monster climber, with great fall color, but can turn into a noxious weed.
