I'm glad that I invested in my Frabill personal bait station. This way I can go ahead and dump the minnows into my boat's bait well and then at the end of the day, I can go ahead and pour tap water into the Frabill and transfer my minnows into there.

Yeah, until one of the little north korean Frabil parts craps the bed on the 2nd time you use it. Good luck, maybe you have the one in 1,000 that will hold up.

i hope what im hearing on here is truth.. that as long as your do not transport lake water you are legal. just dont walk down to the dock and fill up a fresh pale of water and bring it home..

Although i really wonder how many times this happens in the winter? Coincidence that the rise of ice fishing and the rise of invasive species?

winter has a different set of rules. I'm not saying that my yearly budget for bait is $20. I'm saying that the new rules have probably raised my annual bait cost by $20.I keep a cooler in the truck with water and I throw in the occasional bag of ice in the morning to make sure the water is cool when I come off the lake.
