Having decoys out this early

I think that rule only applies after the season has opened.In the regs it states know one can have decoys placed until 1hr b/4 sunrise. I THINK !!!

I've seen a few homes with a big foot or two. Grandma thinking their "new and improved" pink flamingos!

I dont know for sure how this law works- as i know its illegal to set decoys until an hour before shooting time on opener. If i had to guess i'd say it probably isnt really legal, but chances are in the area they are in its not an issue..

Yesterday while driving home, I noticed 1/2 a dozen decoys floating in a small pond right next to the road.

Is this legal? I didn't see anyone around and I assumed they were unattended.

This pond is not huntable due to it's proximity to the road & a house/out-buildings.

If it is private land it is OK if it public land some one could get in trouble for it.
Private land they can stay out all year long.
