Boat advice

Can't believe I'm posting this, but here goes. Currently have a 03 Skeeter TZX 190. 18'5" pure bass boat. Fish a few tourneys now and then, but mostly just recreational fishing. The boat doesn't work well for taking the family out, tubing, etc because its all deck and no limited seating. Wife thinks having a second boat (my idea) is silly.

I love the casting deck and rod storage, but thinking about more of a multi species or walleye boat to make more room for the family. Previously had a skeeter sl fish and ski, but front deck and rod storage was horrible..... Might also be nice to have a deeper hull for bigger water.

Anyone else have this problem and find a good alternative?

Ranger fisherman series is great if you want glass. Plenty of room for the family and they have huge rear deck extensions as well to insert when just fishing.

Stratos 326 xf has absolutely huge casting decks, but is still family friendly. I have the 386 xf with much smaller decks, but is laid out well for a walleye guy like myself. Just reading your post made me think the 326 would be perfect for you.

If your happy with your Skeeter than the MX1825 would be nice. Its kinda a crossover, walleye hull but decks set more for bass fishing. Has a windshield seats 6 and has decent storage for rods and tackle.

Some pretty sweet options out there. For those of you that do a lot of casting, how is it being a little higher off the water?

I end up spending a decent amount of time on the St Croix and really get the dump beat out of me on days with a lot of traffic. Assuming that the walleye hull cuts through a lot smoother?
