I had season b, i slept in mon morning and went out in the afternoon to set my blind up and while setting my blind up around 1:00 i heard a gobble then about an hour or so after setting it up i heard the same one gobble, so i went for a walk to see if i could put a stalk on him and an hour later my season was over. So as of monday they were gobbling a lil but they werent hot and heavy. im sure the warmer weather will get em goin.

I think certain toms may be gobbling earlier than others but I would say that in hunting season B this year it seemed FAR worse than any normal season E we hunt if we don't get drawn. Hunted in SE MN and the toms would mostly shut up by 7 am with only a few randoms in a couple spots we tried. For 5 guys I was the only one that got one on that thurs afternoon and only because the weather was finally getting sunny and warmer. BTW the toms rarely even responded to calls.....I think season C is having the best luck with weather I'd bet...
