Graph shouts down minimal wave action--bus???

ssaamm

Question

Last year my HB 798 was running great. Then, something annoying started to happen. While taking my 5yr old daughter tubing--so not going real fast--the unit would shut off. A monkeyed with connection and bent a metal piece to get a snugger connection. Seemed to help. The other day I was in the boat with unit on, and I reached under the dash and bumped the fuses contained in what I think is called a bus. I think this was the source of my problem all along. Now if I bump the bus the unit turns off. The wave action might move it enough to do the same as my bumnp with my hand. I made sure all the connections were snug. Any words of wisdom. Someone mentioned hooking it right off the starting battery directly. Being that it just started happending and didn't with my other units has me confused. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

double check there isn't something loose in there.

the graph is the only accessory hooked up that loses power?

My guess is the fuse is not seated right or there is a connection problem with wires from the graph.

anytime you can bump things on and off, there is a loose connection problem inside of whatever you are bumping.
