I don't know if I missed this topic but it sounds as though the DNR is trying to ban spinning wings decoys.
Enough is enough this sport is getting to regulated it is to the point where i am going to go back home to montana. I use motorized decoys and sometimes they work sometimes not. but for me and my buddies just having around for our kids to play with is worth it. We get closer shots, better id,
more variety and there is no real justification. Lets not worry about spinning wings but focus on the real issues of predator control, habitat, resource mgmt., minnow pond licensing, flyway mgmt.(southern states)heck lets just ban matrix ammo, hevi shot, etc., lets ban 3 1/2 guns, how about outboards, i know i am kinda going off but lets be real. Deal with the real issues and if not don't take it out on me.

Boy, you are behind the times.
There has been discussions about restrictions on spinning wing decoys in MN for quite some time.

The fact is that the DNR has chosen not to pursue any restrictions for the coming season.
