Dog Food Question

Hey there,
I have an 11 month old yellow lab (My first). Boy did we have some fun this year. We got 4 roosters and 3 grouse. Anyway I was just wondering when I should switch over to adult dog food for him?

I have read that you should start anywhere from 6 months to 1 year depending on when your pup starts putting on extra weight from eating the puppy food.

We wean our puppies on a high quality adult food. Never had any problems.

I agree with you, Bryce. Depending on the brand, puppy food is just a scam. Generally a high fat high protein food will work well. Don't forget about mama, she needs to be fed well during the pregnancy and while she nursing.
