Places to use a dummy launcher?

Can anyone tell me where a good place to use a dummy launcher around the metro? I was looking into heading to a WMA, but fear we will get there and deal with 2 feet of snow. Also, how are dummy launchers viewed in the metro area, far as legally since it is using a 22 blank? Thanks for any info or advice.

I have similar questions, but came to my own (not based on law) conclusions. I figure if within public earshot in a public area, there's a good chance you'll get questioned by the police at a minimum. I don't use in areas where you can't legally discharge a firearm.

Personally, I use launchers and starter pistols only on private land. Luckily, I have some access to make this realistic. If you're serious about training, check out Kelly Farms near Hugo. It's like $250/year for access to 1,000s of acres. You can shoot live loads from a shotgun if you want. Excellent upland cover and great, technical water. A very ideal training ground.

Wouldn't worry about it, a weapon isn't propelling it and it's not ammo thats propelling it. You have a launcher and a blank that was purchased at FF or Mannards for pounding nails. Only thing I can think of is a noise issue, but Id'e first let them tell me I can't..
