Question

about a month back my auger when mid hole it sputtered and missed, and wouldn't restart I put a new plug in it that day and returned to the lake. I got it running but. it ran poor. , cleaned some varnish out of the carb , made a couple adjustments and we where back in business.for a week until last saturday when it died mid hole again, same way sputtered and missed ,and died brought it home put in a carb kit , made some adjustments , ran great for 75-100 hole. on sunday when it died mid hole again after about 50 holes I shut it down AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR , I moved to a differant location on my first hole it died again and wouldnt restart , wont even fire now. my question is this what should it have for compression ?? im guessing upwards of 100 psi. I have about 35I can see th cylinder wall and pistion from intake port it looks good but who knows , anything else i should consider before opening it up
