Insulated vs. Non insulated Hub

I am thinking about swapping my fatfish949 out for a 949i - is there that much difference in internal warmth betweeen a non-insulated and insulated? I have the 4000-9000 btu buddy heater.

Is it worth the extra $50 and extra weight or is my money better spent elsewhere?

We have a non-insulated frabill flip over and bought a frabill insulated hub this year and I think it really makes a difference on the really cold days, especially the cold and windy days. On a windy cold day that heater is goin' nonstop keeping the non-insulated warm. With the insulated hub I have never had the heater above low and usually turn it off after it gets warm even with the vents open and a window cracked.
