help identifying spear

all I know is it is old and originated in the sauk center melrose area.

Looks a little like a Fabeck spear and I know he designed his spears after someone elses that made them around that area. Got any pics of the handle part?

i dont have a picture of the handle but it is just the .50in shaft with diamond knurl for about the last foot of the handle. it also has a fitting screwed in the end so the rope can be inserted through.

Looks and sounds like an omish made spear.

brought it to the spearing show today to get it identified and i had two diffrent people identify it as an early Dillo spear. had a few good offers on it too but i could never sell it. cool it will be a good start to my spear collection
