Hole sleeve??

Hi guys I'm new to this forum and I am trying to decide if hole sleeves are worth the investment? I ave a Mille lacs ice castle and I don't know what color would be best? They offer white, black and glow. Does it really matter or does white work better than black or vice versa when is comes down seeing down the hole? I am buying them for late ice when the snow is gone on the lake to prevent drafts coming up the hole. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

i wouldn't waste the money on them for late ice. Just drill your holes and sit your house down on the slush, you'll be taking your house with you when you leave anyhow, and it should be warmer if the snow is melted.
