Drive out West

I know there are some of you who head out to Montana/Wyoming each year and was wondering if you have a preferrred route of either 94 through NDak or 90 through SDak.

We are heading out to Bozeman for some skiing and was just curoius.

I've only taken I-90 once mainly for a change of scenery, but we never did since because it took longer. It only shows about 75 to 100 miles more but it seemed longer probably because we were unfamiliar with it. You could always play it by the weather and take one or the other based on conditions, or try one route out and the other back.

We have always taken I-90 out. Can get a little sketchy if it snows, it really blows in SD.
