Low Idle?

Recommended Posts

2005 Chevy Colorado 5 cyl 144k

The check engine light came on today so I had it checked and it came back as "low idle"

Any idea what would cause this? First things to check?

Plugs have about 20k and the fuel filter has about 5k

Thanks!

They didn't give me a number. Just said it was a low idle fault, then cleared it.

*edit*

Just Google'd it and sounds like a common issue with these trucks with over 100k. Cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body should fix it. A little Carb cleaner and a toothbrush. I like these kinds of fixes. smile
