2002 chrysler town and country door lock

160,000 miles. on the right front door when you try to lock it or the automatic locks kick in at 20 mph hour. it hums very loud i can hardly get the lock back up the noise seems to be right behind the door lock. is this something i can replace my self or is it pop rivited in. also what is the part called one store said its the whole latch assembly for $100 could i get a used one thanks. on a side note i had the trans elictric pack? changed it was leaking and smelling inside it still smells some wondering if this motor could be the burnt smell.

They arent bad, if once you get the door panel off. Here is the instructions. The actuator snaps onto the latch.
