ATV battery post loses connection

I have a honda foreman 450 ES 2002 and lately the battery connection has been coming loose. It's a quick fix however a pain in the butt. The screw for the ground will not tighten up it's as though it is stripped. I am unable to get it very tight. Has anyone else had this happen to them and is there a fix outside of buying a new battery? Thanks, Erik

Could you use a smaller diameter bolt that's a little longer to bypass the stripped threads and use a nut on the other end to tighten it down?

No problem, hopefully that solves your issue. ATV batteries are expensive!

If you cant tighten it up, I have a brand new set of battery bolts with the blind nuts laying here if you want them.
