outside rod?

Looking for a longer ML action rod for fishing outside. Right now I'm using 28" meatsticks. What are you guys using?

Thorne Bros power noodle with outside guides, you wont find a better rod! I like longer ones for being outside and shorter ones for in the house angling.

Thorne Bro's Power Noodles for me. Perfect rod for all panfish situations. Anywhere from 28" up to 36" with recoil guides is an absolute deadly rod

I dont consider the power noodle an ML rod.

I would go for the Perch Sweetheart instead if you want a Thorne Bros rod.

Otherwise my current favorite is TUC Precision ice 36" rod. 32"-36" is length to have for outside hole hopping.

I really like my Thorne Bros 32" Perch Sweetheart for jigging outside. It's very good down to small spoons but may be a bit heavy for small panfish jigs or UL tackle.

Definitely need to go with the perch sweetheart for a ML action rod. Make sure to get the outside guides and if you want to spend more the REC outside guides are pretty sweet. I'd say 32" is the minimum for a hole hopping rod and my favorite rod is my 36". I've heard good things about the TUC rods and might have to try one out on my next rod purchase.
