Guest
AKC, 10 weeks one yellow male remains, great at water retrieving already. Pedigree is incredible. Sire is out of Gunstocks Butch of Winifox. Almost housebroken. OFA, CERF, guarantee, references. Oh and by the way, Rick got the second to the last one! You will be very pleased with this pup.Sorry, the puppy just left with it's new owner. This family had visited 4 times and the husband finally was convinced that it was ok to buy him. Thanks for all your interest, we kept two yellow females to breed. So, we'll be having pups again in 2005.This is my first experience with this HSOforum, and I can only marvel at how this all works. I will look forward to more and more visits. It was great to meet Rick and his family, I know that Paris will a great new home. Thanks Rick! we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted July 7, 2003 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted July 7, 2003 We bought a Black Lab from Dan & Margann in Kasson. He's 10 weeks old. I'm impressed. He sits, stays, comes when called, retrieves, and talk about a perfect family temperament. I think he will do well in the field too. Fact is, I believe he'll be ready to go this season (Just a little fun for him). My wife who knows nothing about dogs or training has him following all the commands like a champ. Oh yes, and of course, I have to tell you about the 4th of July. My brother had $300 worth of fireworks (not firecrackers). Paris just watched them happily as they were popping less than 20 yards from him, under my wifes chair. I only tell you this so you know that Dan has them started to prevent gun shyness. For those of you who may get the wrong impression about introducing a pup to loud noises, Dan has his pups started and we continue that process. In addition we brought him close to the fireworks slowly from a distance. We advise no one to take their pup and expose them for their first time to a display like this. You don't want a gun shy dog. Dan has a yellow lab left. It was sold to a gentleman who was going to use him for a stud. He checked the pedigree and found that his female had the same grandparents. This kind of dog for the price it's going at is a bargain. Did I tell you that Dan and Margann have these pups already started very nicely

Paul Waldowski
Kelly, I don't know about that! I give Rick exactly 2 weeks and he will have totally untrained that dog . Worst case scenario is for Rick's and Halad's dog to start posting at each other ------------------Paul[email protected]
Guest
Say what? Worst case?! Heck we would double the average IQ around here. ------------------Did he fall out AGAIN!
we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted July 8, 2003 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted July 8, 2003 Hey, I stay away from momma's lab. That pup is way too good for me and I'd sure catch it from her if I did anything wrong her her little baby. Fact is, I think i'm in the process of being replaced. Good thing it's not Halad's dog. I'd be banned from driving as well.
Guest
Why Rick, I don't know where you'd get that idea! [This message has been edited by WifeKids&The Dog (edited 07-09-2003).]
Guest
ALLRIGHT Paris!!! I like your style,, you've already got up on the couch and that usually takes a couple of years. Next get up on the bed and see how soft it is to lay on. Way better then the couch. Remember to practice that big brown eye sad look. That will get you a lot more munchies.------------------Did he fall out AGAIN!
Guest
Hey GREAT picture of little Butch(I mean Paris)!! Looks like he's taking over the house. It looks like he has grown a little since we saw him last. Hows the house training going? It's a little subdued around here since we don't have any more pups around(except ours).Post more pics!------------------
Guest
Hey Halad's Dog, Is this the sad eye look you mean? I've been practicing? Seems to work on the woman real well! Dear Dan (my first dad)Just to let you know I've settled into my new home -- they're a soft bunch and I'm getting them trained real well. I keep them happy by not going potty in the house and the woman gets really smiley when we go to the potty place and I perform. The little kids don't let me in their rooms anymore, I don't know why, I didn't know those things were Barbie dolls, I thought they were chew toys. The folks here take me out a lot, went to a great July 4 party and then to Como Park for a picnic, lots of walking around and having people pat me. It was cool. The woman took me to the vet, I had shots, but I guess I have grown as they said I weighed 22lbs! I hope to come and visit you and the girls some time soon! P.
