HOBBSTER
I have a Strikemaster Strike Lite which tipped over and the plastic handle broke. I have a new handle on order from the local Strikemaster service center in Mankato. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the handle on their own? I see it runs through the gearbox, (between the motor and the auger) just wondering if it was easy, difficult or take it to the store and have them do it. I have all the tools and am mechanically inclined. Been trying to find a schematic of the auger to see what is in store when I unscrew the gear house box. Any info would be great, thanks, Hobbs. cichlid_baby
Don't worry about it... it's very simple.. just a few screws to take the cover off and then replace with the new handle. It just sits in place sandwiched between the cover and the case. You may also have to remove the kill switch and remount it onto the new handle. mplsplayer
I have seen several reports on here that their service center replaced for free. I was not so lucky. I went to D-Rocks this year and out the door it cost me 60 bucks. 20 bucks was labor.
jvb724
Pretty easy to do. I replaced mine last year after it tipped over in my garage. Take your time and it is an easy fix.

HOBBSTER
Thanks fellas. I bought the auger new 5 years ago, so this being the first issue I've ever had with it, and it was my fault the handle broke, I feel plenty confident in Strikemaster brand.
