Big Swan Lake-Meeker county

Hey all, my sister is looking at a lake home on Big Swan Lake in Meeker county north of Dassel. I was looking for any info I can get about this lake? I know all the technical details, but I am wondering if it is one of those really slimy green lakes by the middle of the summer? I see water quality isn't great, but I was hoping for some real life opinions.

it can get very green and slimy gets very weedy on the east end.

Its a good fishing lake for walleyes and panfish.

I live nearby so I do know a little about big swan..Its hooked up to the north fork of the crow river...so it becomes backwater also..the lake can vary 3-4' overnight..

but it is a very good fishing lake for crappies, walleyes and northerns..

it does get green in the summer but not as bad as some nearby lakes..

I would like to own a place on the lake but make sure the elevation can with stand different levels..
