waskawood
My Marcum VS560 died and no one that I know, makes an underwater camera that pans inside a housing like the Marcum did. Does anyone use the panning adapters with Marcum or Aquaview cameras? How do you like them? I really liked the idea Marcum had because I could watch all my baits. Any real life experience would be helpful. Thanks............
Gillfisher
I use the Marcum camera panner - it works great, just have to keep the gear out of the water and wet slush or it freezes up.

The legs are adjustable also. I have a 10" auger hole & it fits over that.

Gus
Used my buddies Mopod and I have the marcum unit. Marcum unit is less monkeying setting up I think, but the mopod is a little nicer once being used. Either way I think they work good and worth the money. CigarGuy
I'm looking too! Do you who have the Mopod worry about it accidentally going down the hole? I don't need another cord to trip over, but the cord on the Marcum would make that a "non-issue".

schlich
I like my mopod because I can set it up a few feet outside my house and see all/most of my lures at same time, while not having it in the way. I've had a mopod for 5 yrs and never even come close to losing it down the hole, but with the new ones I might put a rubber band on it to make sure the cable doesn't slip out?
