Otter Sled Help

I need some help with figuring out which otter sled I should choose. I need it to fit in the trunk of my geo prizm with the seats down. It also needs to fit my strikemaster lazer auger, buddy heater, hub style house, and a couple other things. They don't need to all fit in there when in the trunk, I can toss them in there when I get to the lake and walk it out.

I know i'm pretty limited, but it'd be nice to figure out and make work. Any help is much appreciated.

Thats a tall order. I had the otter medium sport sled. Didnt work well for basically the same gear. It worked but stuff was stacked and hanging out of the ends. Probably would fit in your car though. I believe the dimensions were 54"x28"12".

Ok...for years I used the Otter Mini Sled (42L X21W) and it fit in the trunk of my Chevy Prism and Toyota Corolla....but that was back in the days before I bought a hub shelter and a power auger. The power auger and hub shelter put me over the edge of sled capacity so I bought a second Otter Mini and stacked them enpty in the trunk (cross wise). So going across the ice I had two sleds (like a train) and all worked well except that it was a lot of work empting the sleds and reloading the sleds.

So now I have the Otter Pro Small Sled (52 X 25) and it fits all my stuff just fine (Rods, Hub House, Auger, Ice Saw, Heater, Minnows)...but I don't know if it will fit in your trunk cause the year I got a bigger sled was the same year I got rid of Toyota Corolla and moved up to a pickup truck.

If you can fit the 52L X 25W otter sled in your trunk you should be good to go. Just make the measurements in the store and then go measure your trunk before you pull the trigger cause Otter keep changing the dimensions of their sleds by an inch or so year-to-year and the only way to know for sure it TO MEASURE.

On My 52L X 25W Otter sled I can fit everything I carry (Cabalas Hub Shelter, 5-gal Rod Bucket, 5-gal Bait Bucket, Amish Spear, Fish Toys Ice Saw, Medium Mr Heater Heater, Vexilar FL-18 and Small backpack all in one load. It takes a little thinking, a couple of bungees cords (might drill a few holes in strategic places) and some practice but once you get your packing methodology down to a repeatable science you can attain one-sled freedom and simplicty. I actually enjoy pulling that sled across the lake on foot late a night... as long as the snow isn't too deep. It is an awesome experience that I look foreword to every year.

I enjoyed it last year when I was on the lake walking back pulling my kiddie sled with hand auger, bucket, and flasher late at night. Looking forward to enjoying it a bit more this year with the additional gear. Probably the best thing of living north is being on a lake at night pulling a sled hearing the wolves in the distance, and peace and quite. Thanks for the help. Just measured my trunk, 55x30x13. Think i could make it work. I was able to fit it all in my trunk on the journey to my parents this weekend, so i'm sure i can do it for the sled. Do you recommend a cover?

Thanks a ton for the help. I'm going to have to try and see if the pro will work. I'm hoping it's at fleet farm so I can get it and try it out. I see the price difference is about 20$ between the wild and pro. Looks like the pro is a little bit more versatile.
