walleye 4 me
I just set up my new clam 4000 in the garage and noticed there is quite a bit of sag in the roof poles. Is this normal? seems like if you got a bit of snow on it it could collapse. Should I return it? thanks
MNCPRGUY
Sounds like the same problem I had. Mine went back to Clam. Replacement is much better. Bigfoot 4000T Roof Sag
cichlid_baby
I can already see it...Just wait until you get a bit of moisture build up in the roof fabric to weigh it down some or a slight drizzle.. then you're really gonna notice those roof poles aren't gonna cut it. walleye 4 me
So I contacted Clam about this issue. Tried emailing but they were not very responsive so I just called them. Got to talk to one of the engineers and he said that it sounds like the roof poles were to long. Gave me 2 options, send it back to be replaced or try trimming the poles my self. I trimmed them myself which took maybe 10 minutes and it is MUCH better. For the hassle, they are sending me a free pair of ice armor gloves. Pretty happy overall. JohnMickish
They are a great company to work with and they understand what customer service is. No company is perfect and you can't please everyone, but they try.

dashtek
What number did you call for Clam? I have been calling for a week and the phone is always busy during business hours. Assumed I'd get put into a queue but not the case. I've gotten one email from them in 10 days, it'll take me till next season to get answer at this rate. Can you just go to Clam Corp to buy parts/packages, etc.?
eyedr
+1 I cannot get a hold of them either.
