Does anyone have a review of rods and reels from 13 Fishing? Their Wicked rod caught my eye but I've never heard of them before this year. Thanks in advance.

I believe this is at least their second season with ice gear. The wicked rod/combo is new this year from what a rep told me. I have both a wicked ice rod and a combo. while I have not yet used the (will tomorrow), they are the nicest rods I own. I am trading most of my ice rods and some open water rods for 13 Fishing next year. These things are great from what I can see of them. Have heard very good things about them from others as well.

I have the Ice 13 fly style reel. Not the super fancy one with the high speed retrive. Just the basic one that was lilke 39.99. Their is one thing I don't like about it. I like the spool very loose when fishing panfish so it is easy to let line out. In order to get the tension I like the nut that hold the spool on almost comes off. I am afraid that it will at some point and I will loose it.
