Ozzy169
The locals around this area have been flying out in the mornings and then sitting in pastures, fields, or other areas that one can't get permission to hunt and not flying till 10 mins after legal shooting hours. Nothing moving in evening, seeing a few more geese though.------------------Get 'er done
HUNTER2
It seems like there is less geese around the Willmar area this year.------------------Hunt&Fish tell you drop!
Fisher Dave
Seen lots of geese moving on the north side of Faribault last weekend while scouting .. seemed to be flying with last 2 hours of light... I dont have any fields I can hunt in the area. I didnt see any geese moving anywhere else but there in the mid day/evening hours. The morning birds were moving (you already know this).Ozzy .. you need any help gunning down any of them geese early in the morning in your fields ?I didnt have time to get out and lock down any fields this year. Previously I used to hunt in the Marshall area for the early hunt but the farmer retired and sold out... there went pheasent hunting too.
walleyewacker
Was out this morning and noticed alot of sky high flocks, even with the heavy clouds. It seems like that front that moved through pushed some locals around a little bit. I havent seen hardley any gees in the Willmar/Lake Lillian either HUNTER. But once you get in the Cosmos, Sunberg, and areas a little farther north I have seen plenty off geese. But I think the front will help this and move some birds around.
