crossover for pulling a four place?

Time to replace our Durango. With kids in hockey, we need an SUV, problem is, all the trips around town with a V8 are killing us. So a V6 crossover; i.e. (traverse, acadia, pathfinder, etc) would really be way more practical. Problem is, we pull a four place to Michigan once a year for our snowmobile trip. Does anybody know the towing weight of a loaded four-place, and does anyone know how one of these rigs would do towing one?

Looking at Floe's site, a 20 foot 4 place trailer weighs 1250 lbs empty. They say the GVWR is about 4500 lbs, that leave 3250 lbs of cargo. I don't know what sleds you have but you should be way under the 4500 GVWR with most sleds on the market these days, unless you have all 4 stroke touring models. Even if you averaged about 600 lbs per sled ( figuring wet weight and some accessories ) you would only use 2400 of the 3250 lbs of cargo weight.

The Acadia has a towing capacity of 5200 lbs, so you're in pretty good shape with one of those, the Travers is lighter isn't it? Guess I'm not sure on those.
