Bluebills

I saw my first raft of bills on Mille Lacs yesterday. About 250 birds right out infront of the cabin. Fun to watch, but I wish I could have seen some when the season was open.

Yea, I've been seeing quite a few bills myself. Once again they have came through well after the season has been over. What's this? 4 years in a row now?

On Norway Lake, I've been seeing more ducks since the season ended than during. Big rafts of mallards and divers. The lake skimmed over this morning but yesterday there was a raft of about 500 bluebills. Week before there were about 1000 mallards and 1000 ringbills and goldeneyes.

Same scenario on Big Kandi. Some day's there have been several thousands of geese out there! Tons of ducks too! NO ICE!!!!
