ozzie
Is there anything I should worry about if I drained my lower unit tonight and then went north and came back and finished the job on Sunday? My thought is it is warm right now and the lube will drain better but I am in a hurry so I don't want to wait around for it to completely drain to refill it so I thought I would do that Sunday...Am I putting my motor in jeopardy with the freezing temps coming and having no lube in the lower unit? verg
agreed..no. But, don't forget to put it in sometime before use of boat. Helps to do it while warmer.
ozzie
thanks guys!! I couldn't think of any danger in doing it this way...at least I can get the lube out while it is warm and then put in warm lube when it is cold.....
Down Deep
Just so you don't forget, put your ignition key in an envelope and make a note to yourself.
