OIL RECOMMENDATIONS

I recently bought a 2007 sportsman 500 with no owners manual and just wondering what type of oil and how much. any info would be great. thanks

My 2004 manual recomends Polaris premium 4 synthetic 0W40 and 2 qts if you change both the tank and sump on the bottom of the engine. I always buy the kit at the polaris dealer comes with oil and filter.

Rotela T6 is a good alternative to factory oils and wicks makes there filters. Oil change for half the price.

If you have a dealer near by just drop in a pick up an oil change kit. The kit includes the reccomended two quarts of Polaris PS4 sythetic and the correct filter.
