  1. Worked the Woodtick trail all day on Saturday. Where able to see 5 grouse all flushing early with no shots fired. Still quite a bit of leaves on trees.
  2. Thanks for all the info. The local prop shop talked me into bringing my alum prop in for some custom work. They basically told me that until you get up in hp you really wont notice much of a difference.
  3. Should run at 6200 rpm. Trying to get more rpm. Has a great hole shot to plane no problem. just trying to get a little more rpm.
  4. Just wondering if anyone has put a ss prop on a 1725 pro guide w/75hp 4s. Right now I have a 17 p running around 5400 rpm with standard alum prop. I would like to get up on he rpm up to at least 6000 rpm but yet keep up with the speed if possible. Right it gets up on great even with gear and people. anyone with info would be great.
  5. Spent all day Friday in he woods looking for grouse didn't come across one bird in 8 hours of walking through the woods. Tried just about everything I could think of. Didn't even hear a shot from any other hunters in the area(Chippewa Nat. Forest) off the Woodtick trail. Anyone else been in this area.
  6. Just wondering if anyone has been in the Hackensack/Longville area hunting grouse? Just wondering what the outlook is. Coming up Friday with the family and young pup GWP. Hopefully we can find a bird or two to see what she can do. Any info would be great. Thanks
  7. Thanks for reply. Plan on getting everything ready for early ice and this is just one the things that needs to be done. Thanks again.
  8. I recently bought a 2007 sportsman 500 with no owners manual and just wondering what type of oil and how much. any info would be great. thanks
  9. Looking for a recipe to cook a dcouple of squirrels? Was up north today checking out deer stands an happened to come across a couple of squirrels and a bonus grouse. Daughter happened to shoot her first squirrel and she was very excited so she wants to have squirrel for dinner tomorrow night. If anybody has an idea on how to prepare squirrel and would like to share that would be great. Thanks
  10. Hawg, The only thing that was stored in it was two portables for the summer. I guess if you needed next space that would work great for a shed.
  11. I had a 8' house for the last 4 years and I am down sizing because my two daughter rarely go with us anymore. So it is usually my wife and I that go. I agree I will miss all the extra room.
  12. Layed out the steel for my new fishouse frame for 6.5 x 16 and with the wheels and it measured 8'5" to outside of the tires.
  13. Not quite sure. Planning on trying to get as much as I can and be legal at 102" wide.
  14. Thanks for all the replies that helps me make my decision. Sounds like it will be .040 aluminum siding again. Again, thanks for everybodies info. Hawg to answer your question the sheets are 4x8 price was $73 per sheet white only colored sheets are more. hope this answers your question. Hope to start on my new house this weekend 6.5x16 w/3' V. If I can figure out how to load pictures I will keep updating with the progress.
