LINE TWIST

Im assuming you are talking about spooling up spinning reels right?

I have always had good luck with lying the spool on its side on the floor and then filling the reel. I always run the line completely through my eyelets on my ride and run the line between my fingers to add some tension as I reel.

You will never eliminate all line twist, but this has worked best for me.

Another thing that someone suggested on here in the past and I've found works well is to stretch about 30 - 50 feet of line out after spooling. I just fill the spool and pull the line off a few feet at a time and lay it on the floor after I've given it a few tugs between my fingers. Helps get the memory from the spool out of the line you actually have in the water.
