NAMASafetyDirector
Just picked up a .223 bolt action varmint rifle and I am looking through the masses of scope options. Would like to keep it around $250 or so. Anyone have any reccomendations, not only for brands or models but for power as well. Thanks! nitro640
I bought a Burris fulfield II 3x9 a few years ago, I have to say their customer service was amazing, after having it on a gun for four years that wouldn't hold zero I was sure the scope was bad, I called them to see if they could check it, they said send it back, they recoil tested it, disassembled it, cleaned it and recoil tested it again and sent it back no charge, the gun is gone but the scope is on my 6.8 now and I love it. it has the bullet drop comp reticle. I've also had very good luck with a couple cheaper bushnells.

K_Josh87
I topped my 243 with a leupold 3x9... Love the scope, and it was marked way down at scheels the day I bought my gun, and was match to my stainless finish... so all in all worked out well, but is a great scope.. I think I paid 199, or 179.... and it was a 250+ scope...
treble
Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 is on sale at the big C for $299 and you can get $20 off and free shipping. Not sure you're going to find a better deal than that.
