Here ya go fish, These thing are awsome, the D ring velcro's to the balance point on ur rod handle an slips over the chrome rod an gives it perfect nuetral balance to the fish. the rattle reels are awsome an very light pull will rotate them an they glow in the dark, the reel can slip off an replaced with another D ring rig for dead sticking. I know u'll like them. later boar

Back again, after viewing the picturs i realized that i had placed the rod to far in on the holder, proper placement is at the end of the rod by the black tip so you can remove the rod an set the hook in one fluid motion. Having fished with these last year with my bud who has his house fixed with them, i replaced my old dinosaures with these, cant wait till ice up!

For storage and quick change, I made these out of PVC pipe. Cut a slot in them for the reel neck and drilled holes to mount. Remember, the wall side holes should be around 3/16", while the outside hole should be large enough to fit the screw head through, including your screwdriver or bit holder. They work well, and have less than $5.00 invested in material to make 10 or so holders.

Unfortunately I don't have those numbers for you, but I do know this: When you're out buying the pipe, it's obvious what size you'll need. One looks too small, and the other is too big. I believe it's 1 1/2" though. As far as length, looking at the picture, it's probably around 8"? I can measure this Friday when I'm at the house, but honestly I don't remember. Measure your rod handle and figure you want the slot a little more than 1/3 down? Ha, I don't remember that either. I'll bring a tape and take some better pictures when I'm out there.
