trigger job

Any idea how much a basic trigger job goes for? I have a new ruger mark II 7mm rem mag that seems way to heavy. I did get a trigger job on my .25-06 about 15 years ago but I dont remember the cost. Also a couple of buddies told me to buy it and it is pretty darn easy to do yourself. Not sure I want to do this, so I am asking the experts.

perchking, i just checked out ahlmans web site,they charge $50.00 for a 3-4 lb. trigger job,so i'd say thats close to the going rate,ahlmans being in southern mn.

rem300, is that re-working the existing trigger? IF so that is a good deal, I hope I can find something similar to that in N. Wisc or the UP.
