Battery question

Hey guys quick question, in my wheelhouse I have a marine deep cycle battery. Should I leave it in the house even when i am not using it and leave it hooked up? Or should I unhook it and leave it in the wheelhouse? Or should I unhook it and bring it inside my house to keep it warm?

I always came home with them an kept them warm, hopeing to extend the lidfe dont know if it worked.

I've done it both ways. Lately, I disconect the battery and only take it in when I think it needs charging. I was surprised how long the charge lasts.

Be midful on the state of charge when you leave it. If its run down a ways they are more prone to freezing.

Get a volt meter and check it before leaving it anywhere for any length of time. If it's under 12 volts, it goes home with me in the garage and put on a smart charger and by the time I'm ready to use it again, it's ready to go! I treat it just like a Vex battery as I always put it on a smart-charger after any amount of use and I know for sure I won't have any battery issues!
