Retrieving wounded deer in Wisconsin

Recommended Posts

It's a tough situation for sure. I have a very good friend of mine that let me hunt his land all the time. 2 years ago, while looking down at his feet, he told me no more hunting for anyone on his land. He just got sick of people tresspassing and dealing with gut piles, garbage, etc. I understand why I said, "No more for anyone," and it sucks, but hunters did it to themselves.

As a land owner myself I've booted people off my property and they were actually upset I told them to leave. Pure arrogance on their part. All they had to do was knock on my door or give me a call and I would have told them no problem have fun.

I've also shot animals that wandered onto others property. I always ask first.

Tough situation that's for sure.
