Photoshop Upgrade Advice

Recommended Posts

Hello there fellow photographers! It has been a long time since I have visited you all, and I LOVE the pictures I have seen and am seeing!! Someday I hope to enhance my skills...

That being said, I currently have PSE Elements 7 and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what to upgrade to?

Thank you everyone and anyone! smile

This is not Carolyn, but thanks for the response! smile

That is a good question...I feel like I would like to broaden my horizons further into the photo editing world. Be it I upgrade and take a class on my upgrade? I have had PSE Elements 7 for quite a few years and just ASSUMED there has to be better out there??

fisherchick, glad to see you posting again! There is another thread running you might be interested in located HERE

I will say that many folks really like Lightroom. As I mentioned in the above thread I am personally not a fan but please don't hold that against the program! I have been using Photoshop for so long it is hard to get the same results as fast for me. As I have mentioned in the past any book by Scott Kelby is almost as good as a class! If you just want to see how things work Adobe allows a 30 free trail so you can download and take a look and see how it works for you.

I hope to see you posting some of your beautiful work again soon!
