Wards 450

Has anyone ever seen any of the "Montgomery Wards" sleds. I have a 450cc model. I believe it was built in the early 70's. I also once read an article that labeled it as the "ugliest" snomobile ever made. The ol girl I have needs some help but was running a couple years ago. Someone gave it to me a while back. This thing had sat in a field for 10 yrs but came back to life after a quart of transimission fluid sat in the cylinders for a year (my engine loosening technique). What a beast. It was quite a ceremony when it finally started moving. Now that I have a garage, I think its time to wake er up again.

I have an old wards sled but it's not 450. I have a wards riverside caribou with a sachs 16 hp engine. Please let me know if i can see a picture.
