Radiant heater vs. Blue flame

What are the pros and cons of each? I love my big buddy which has radiant heat. Seems like the heat goes "straight out" further then a blue flame maybe?? Trying to decide what kind to buy to put in my perm

I slept in there with my big buddy and never had any problems. Open both windows a couple inches. Is one of these to worse for co2?

I've slept many nights between a herosene heater, a blue flame ventless, and a sunflower. I woke up every time, but I've since realized that I'm pretty dang lucky. For $200 extra you can get a direct vent, and that is my recommendation. It isn't just the CO, it's also the lack of moisture and temp control via thermostat. And your friends and family.

At a minimum, get 2 CO detectors, with digital PPM CO readout.

I second the direct vent option.

I have a used heater from a pop up in my shack, the fan in it runs off a battery but the heat is awesome... I ran a cold air return duct to recycle the hot air off the ceiling back though the heater... same temp on the floor as it is at the top of the shack Well worth the money!!!
