Garmin 62S Color Line

Boss Hogg

Question

I have a Garmin 62S. Can the navigation line be changed to a different color. It currently is a Pink, which is hard for me to see. I do know how to change the Track color lines, but not the navigation line.

The Garmin 62S comes without an instruction book. I was told, after I got the unit, that the instruction book can be purchased as an accessorie for $20 on line.

Thanks

I don't know if you can change the color of the navigation line but the complete owners manual and the quickstart guide can be downloaded for free on Garmins site, it's in Adobe PDF format. It would be exactly what you would order for $20 if you need the paper version.

I don't do Routes with my 62st, just Tracks, so I might be all wet with this one, but here goes:

If that "navigation line" you mention is what Garmin calls the 'Current Track,' then it is changed just like all of your other saved tracks.

To change the current track color:

Get to the Main Menu (a quick way is to press 'Menu' twice)

Scroll to 'Track Manager' and press 'Enter'

At 'Current Track,' press 'Enter'

Scroll to 'Set Color' and press 'Enter'

Scroll to your desired color and press 'Enter'

Press 'Quit' or 'Page' to back out

If you are talking about the color of a turn-by-turn Route marking, well, sorry I chimed in.

Hey, you also can always view/download the Garmin GPSMAP 62 Series Owner's Manual.
