Would like to get into bow hunting

I really want to get back into bow hunting. I don't have a bow however. After a summer of home improvements I am tapped out of cash. I do have a nice shotgun I could trade though. Anybody here have any thoughts?

Start with a cheap/free used bow for the first couple years and decide whether or not you enjoy it, if so upgrade when you have the funds.

Use hsolist, the site that starts with Craig, or that other auction site (sorry it doesn't allow me to name them) and post in the Sporting Goods, Wanted, and trade/barter sections.

Otherwise, as with my friends, many of them quit bow hunting a few years ago and either want to get rid of their old bows or if they do get back into hunting want to upgrade. If you can find someone like that you can usually get them dirt cheap or free.

What is a PSE MACH X with all the fixings worth used? Found one and a guy willing to trade.

Depends on the fixings but it was their top of the line bow about 6 yrs ago before they came out with the X force. Probably $300+ in good shape and ready to go with decent sight and rest.
