1997 chev silverado starting issue

Hello again guys....Over the last couple months i have been having starting issues(once in a while)....Sometimes it will turn over slow(like a weak battery....Sometimes when you turn the key it will only click....Then i need to hit the key 4 or 5 times to get the starter to engage....I replaced the battery a few days ago....Same issues....Is it time for a new starter?...

When it just clicks, do the headlights dim like there is a load, or does the intensity of the lights not change at all?

Before spending cash on a new starter, make sure to first clean the terminal on the starter where the battery cable connects. Its not at all uncommon to find them corroded.

I'm betting the starter is covered in oil?

Sounds like it is new starter time to me.
