fisherdog19
Got out the last two days on foot and on my kayak. Friday afternoon I caught the incoming tide in a tidal lagoon area and did well. 8 reds and 3 snook in about an hour and then they shut off as the tide wasn't very strong so it didn't last long. Decided to take the kayak out for the day yesterday and the lack of tide flow made the fishing tough. Fished the same general area and ended up with 4 snook and only one red. The incoming tide was very week and not high at all so that made it tough. Last week I fished by the new bridge during the evening/night outgoing tide and did well, a 20, 28, and 35 inche snook. Fished until about 10 pm.All fish were caught on a 1/4 to 1 oz jig head with a 4 inch paddle tail minnow caked up with pro-cure inshore scent.
