Panther Martin blades looking dull...

does anyone have any "home" remedies for this problem? The blades I'm interested in spiffing up are gold and silver, not painted. Thanks!

i leave them in the packages until I use them.

They typically dull up by the third use and usually lose them by then.

try make a paste out of baking soda/salt/water and scrub your blades with a tooth brush

I use chrome and metal polish like "Mothers" or whatever they might have at the auto parts store to clean my spoons and blades. Just make sure you wash them with soap and water after to get rid of any residue or scent. I also remove the split ring and hooks when I can so as not to get polish stuck in them and I don't get them stuck in me.
