Recommended Posts

Bought the rge chisle tip man they look deadly on the X bow, finnaly saw the rage cut on cantact up close an am going Hmmmmmmmm maybe i shoulda blah blah blah, but i really like the chisle tip, but that cut on contact is... an the chisle tip is awsome, an the cut on contact looks....

I'm looking at the heaviley muscled beast of the bear with pipe like bones an just have this nagging feeling that the cut on contact could deflect or bounce off or bend ect ect.. Anyone have one go an animal with any type of dammage to the cut on contact tip. Probabley gona stick with chisle tip but would like to hear pros an cons. Yes i know shot placement but mr. murphy is so alive an well on these issies. Thanks boar

I had the same dilemma and the owner of the bow shop I shop/shoot at has shot dozens of all types of bear or bigger animals (seen the pictures) and is a bear guide in Canada. He talked me into grimreaper cut on contact he said better than chisle for penetration and fly great. Told me if you hit bone most likely screwed nomatter what. Said don't aim to forward to risk shoulder hit. I was debating on rage or the reapers both look wicked, I just don't like the rubber bands on the rage they get old crack, break and can open in flight.
