Pool algae control?

I have an intex above ground pool. Up until the heat this year, have never had algae. Not so lucky this year! What do you do/add to get rid of it and control it. Water was crystal clear up until algae came. I run the saltwater system if that makes a difference.

Has the water been tested to make sure the chlorine level and PH are right? Generator been cleaned lately?

You'd want to be sure that's all kosher before making any additional treatments since it's preferable to address things at the root cause whenever possible.

There is an algaecide that you can add to the water. Available at most places where the intex pools are sold. It is a clear liquid that you add, doesn't take much.
