i must have a non farter at this point. my chocolate lab just hasn't farted up to this point, but i have sinus problems here and there grin. talk about burping. i was at my daughters yesterday babysitting her kids while they were at the hospital waiting for my new grandaughter to be born [to my youngest daughter, her first child]. her yellow lab [a male] was burping a few times like he gussled a few beers down. good luck.

Thanks for the input, guys. At least I know I'm not alone.

My family owned dogs while I was growing up, and I don't remember a single instance of smelling a dog fart. Oh well...shoulda been thankful while it lasted. smile

I still remember waking up to the carbon monoxide detector, and going downstairs to find the dog laying in front of it. The funny thing is that none of the other ones went off.

Ive only had two dogs in my lifetime, both of them labs. Our first one was renowned in the family for her problems. When something was wrong, everybody knew.

Our second one isn't as bad, except when she is anxious or exited.

Most dogs have it, some don't. I feel for you.

This is hiliarious. My GSP will let them fly loud and proud. Then he gets up and looks at the tail end. He then proceeds to lay his ears back and gives you the look almost to say " It must be those low flying ducks you keep telling mom about." So he doesnt stink that often. The Cocker Spaniel on the other hand, He will jump in your lap, give you a kiss then head for the hills. About the time he hits the floor is about the time it hits your nose. THen its time for the air tanks and hazmat suits.
